And what the girls replying to the threads are saying seems to be echoing him. One girl said "the guy should pay for my dinner" -- later clarifying that she felt that way because she likes to take on the traditional role in dating, which is fine. But her initial statement is still misguided and wrong, because it was expressed as a universal -- yet no-one seems to recognise this. :/

I still haven't been able to watch the whole thing, but apparently he says that women should be grateful to men for protecting them? That's definitely closer to "women are weak and helpless flowers", ugh.

I was kind of expecting you'd to comment on this! Actually, I was hoping you'd post about it first, because I enjoy reading your comments on feminism. &hearts
