I'm reading them on Kindle right now, and the very first paragraph detailed exactly that, ahaha. Funny that the parts of fandom I've come into contact with seem convinced he and Watson are having massive amounts of mind-blowing sex, both in the original and in the BBC miniseries (and probably every other adaptation out there as well). Maybe this is like fandom's preference for Tendou/Kagami and Kagami/Hiyori instead of the almost-canon that is Tendou/Hiyori.
