They're a unit under Kamikaze, the same label that produces K-otic. And Kamikaze is a sub-label of RS, which produces Zee and C-Quint and a lot of other bands. Idk why it sounds like Cantonese! Thai doesn't sound all that much like any of the major Chinese languages to me anymore -- its consonants tend to be softer? and its vowels are kind of ... flatter idk -- but maybe it's because they're all from the Sino-Tibetan language family? They're all tonal and essentially monosyllabic and um. I should stop because I'm moving into territory I don't really know much about. >_>

RS is one of the three big companies -- there's GMM Grammy (the biggest one, which is split into about 109237483 different labels; if you run across a small-ish label with higher-budget music videos, chances are it's part of the GMM Grammy conglomorate), RS Public Co. Ltd., and Sony BMG. I think Sony BMG specialises more in movies/OSTs/lakorns, though? They're not as important to the music scene as they used to be. Occasionally you'll run into small companies/labels that really do belong to themselves and aren't part of those three -- Mono Music, for example, which is a Korean-Thai compnay. I think the CEO is actually Korean, which explains why Candy Mafia and G-20 have both guested on Star King, and G-20's been on multiple times.

Ummm, there aren't a whole lot of fansites out there? Especially not English-language sites. There used to be KIF for K-otic and some of Kamikaze, but it looks like ipbfree went down? :( And there are some threads on soompi which I'm too lazy to find right now. Dirtii Laundry (http://dirtii-laundry.net/) is a celebrity news/gossip blog -- mostly for lakorn actors, but some tpop-related stuff pops up there too. And I mostly surf various Youtube channels and watch the new releases appear on ethaicd to find out about new music. Idk how much of this you've seen before, so: Kamikaze (http://youtube.com/user/welovekamikaze) (label), RS (http://youtube.com/user/RSVDO) (label), Mono Music (http://youtube.com/user/MrMonoMusic) (label), Genie Records (http://youtube.com/user/Genierock) (label), Sanam Luang (http://youtube.com/user/sanamluang) (label), Small Room (http://youtube.com/user/SmallroomOfficial) (label), We Records (http://youtube.com/user/werecordsgmm) (label), Sugar Eyes (http://youtube.com/user/sugareyesofficial) (band), Vwiilz (http://youtube.com/user/Vwiilz) (band), taiyonae188 (http://youtube.com/user/taiyonae188) (fan channel, mostly random perfs), KTMBEAT (http://youtube.com/user/KTMBEAT) (fan channel, TV shows - mostly Kamikaze/RS), 0840035913 (http://youtube.com/user/0840035913) (fan channel - Mono Music), pittkarchai (http://youtube.com/user/pittkarchai) (fan channel - C-Quint fancams), AsiaHolicTpop (http://youtube.com/user/AsiaHolicTpop) (new releases channel - has GMM Grammy/Sony BMG stuff I haven't been able to find official channels for), changjohotem (http://youtube.com/user/changjohotem) (fan/friend channel - probably a Mono Music producer's account?), Koen's account (http://youtube.com/user/pataradanai) (Koen K-otic's vlogs), Afu's account (http://youtube.com/user/wayangray) (producer for Kamikaze). I'm sure there's more that I've bookmarked, but my bookmarks are a mess and I can't find them. D:

You might want to google banzsudsab? S/he's a reliable source for new releases, although they're almost always 128 kbps and I can frequently find a better quality rip elsewhere.

THIS LOOKS OVERWHELMING BUT IT'S REALLY NOT, I PROMISE :(((

The problem with asking me for information is that I have a lot at my disposal. :( If you just sort of pick a group or two and use them as a launching point to get into tpop slowly, it's not overwhelming at all! ;___;
